The marathon is not a quest, but a new mechanic which allows you to play at your usual pace and get new buildings!
Participation in the Marathon is available from level 30.
Open the Collection tab in the Marathon window to see which building you can get for the Marathon.
During the Marathon, you will collect Marathon Points by performing your usual actions:
- Sending a full Ship in the Bay will bring you 2 Marathon Points;
- Fulfilling an order for a tourist brings 1 Marathon Point;
- 8 Marathon Points you will receive at the beginning of each part.
Tropical Marathon consists of four stages, with different durations (identical time for all players):
Stage 1: 25/4 – 29/4
Stage 2: 29/4 – 27/5
Stage 3: 27/5 – 10/6
Stage 4: 10/6 – 20/6
In all 4 stages, all three buildings on the Awards tab will be available for collection of drawings and reception.
Each of the stages has its own goals (to collect a certain number of Marathon points), on reaching which you receive prizes – Folders with drawings of new buildings.
Each folder open – 1 new design. The drawings fall from the folders in random order.
To get a building, you need to accumulate a certain number of drawings of this building (for information on the required number of drawings, look in the Rewards tab).
The Stage goals are available in the Activities tab of the Marathon window.
It is important to note that the points collected in the first stage do not enter the second stage and so on.
In our Tropical Marathon, you can’t do without evaluations:
- As a reward for a place in the ranking you will receive folders with drawings;
- Players will be divided into groups of around 100 people (traditionally – by level of play and activity);
- The ratings will be formed again for each level – this means that you will receive a reward for your place in the ranking 4 times during a Marathon;
- To participate in the evaluation necessary to complete the first goal of each stage.
You can find information about the prizes for the places in the ranking in the Ratings tab of the Marathon window (hover your mouse over the gift icon).
