Hi everyone! This is my first time speaking to you here — my name is Xenia, and I’m a game designer at SuperCity.
I’d like to tell you a little about a major update we’ve been working on lately: new maps are coming to Archaeological Expeditions!
We know that many of you have grown very fond of the previous maps, so we thought carefully about how to bring something new to Expeditions while keeping the familiar spirit of adventure and exploration. We hope these new journeys will surprise you and bring you some fresh experiences.

What’s waiting for you?
1. New places and stories
Each map is a little journey of its own, with a unique atmosphere and quests. You’ll travel to the Wild West, help a medieval king, and visit many other unusual places.
2. Updated treasure areas and piles of gold
We’ve expanded the treasure areas and added even more interesting things to discover. You’ll also come across real piles of gold on the maps. They will give you points for Club activities and more, and sometimes you may even find a useful resource to help you continue exploring.
3. New companions for Victor Rich
For part of the journey, Victor won’t be exploring the maps alone: Alice and the adorable dog Bingo will join him on his adventures.
We have to admit, Bingo won our team over right away. We hope you’ll grow just as fond of him.
4. And one more special surprise…
Among the new adventures, you’ll come across a map where you can feel like a true treasure hunter: hidden caches, interesting quests, and heaps of treasure are waiting for you!
But when exactly will you encounter it on your journey? We’ll leave that as a little mystery.
There’s also one more important change — and this one came directly from your feedback.
You told us that after completing all the quests on a map, you sometimes want to stay there a little longer: collect anything you may have missed, explore untouched corners, or simply finish what you didn’t get around to. Previously, if you returned to your city or closed the game at that point, the Expedition would automatically send you to the next map the next time you entered.
Now the choice will be yours.
After completing the quests on a map, even if you leave the Expedition or close the game, you’ll still have the option to return to the completed map when you come back and finish what you were doing before moving on.
Thank you for sharing your impressions with us and telling us what you feel is missing from the game. Feedback like this really helps us make Expeditions more enjoyable and convenient for you.
I hope you have a wonderful journey through the new maps — and plenty of lucky finds along the way!
See you in the Expedition!
