We’ve got multiple updates going live today, and they’re all about giving you more room to build, smarter ways to progress, and fresh rewards to chase. Let’s dive in!
1) New land on the Islands
The long-awaited new territories are here! You’ll find them on the right side of the Islands location. There are no special quests to unlock this land—just the usual steps: purchase an expansion (where required), clear obstacles, and start placing your buildings.
10 land expansions
- 2 are gifts: they are available to build on immediately (no purchase required).
- No obstacles on gifted land: the gifted land expansions don’t need obstacle clearing before you can build.
5 water expansions
- All 5 are gifts: they are available to build on immediately with no obstacles to clear.
Prerequisite: the Cableway must be fully built. If your Cableway is ready, you can start developing the new areas right away. If not, build it to gain access.
Starter gift: you’ll receive a pleasant welcome gift when this update begins.

2) Megabuildings evolve: Shoe megastore & level 13 upgrades
Shoe megastore (new megabuilding)
Meet the brand-new Shoe megastore—a stylish way to make your city more efficient and eye-catching. Like all megabuildings, it bundles multiple buildings of the same type into one, saving space and sparing your time when collecting profits.

Shoe megastore upgrade details
Megabuilding upgrades up to level 13
All megabuildings, including the new Shoe megastore, can now be upgraded from level 6 to level 13.
Core upgrade rules:
- Have one non-upgraded building of the required type in storage.
- Use the new item (Upgrade plan: Islands) for upgrades beyond level 6.
- The third item may vary by building.
- You’ll also sometimes need the Logistics specialist (a new specialist trained at the University, see details below).
Why it matters: higher levels pack even more same-type buildings into one footprint, freeing up space and making routine collection faster and more convenient.

3) Meet the Bathyscaphe
When you zoom in on the new Islands land, look for a small boat on the southern shore—that’s the Bathyscaphe, your new helper for gathering valuable items.

How it works (identical to the Bay ship)
a) In the Bathyscaphe window, complete 5 tasks—there’s no timer on task completion.
b) Once all items are collected, use them (yellow button) and send the Bathyscaphe (green button).
c) You’ll receive a random reward from the item pool shown in the bottom-right of the Bathyscaphe window.
d) You may send a partially filled Bathyscaphe, but the reward will be lower.
e) After you send it and receive your reward, the Bathyscaphe goes for maintenance: 8 hours of waiting time (you can speed this up with superbucks).
