Let’s set out together on a warm, wonder-filled journey across time. You’ll explore a mist-covered map, clear the path, gather resources, and restore a brand-new museum exposition—step by step, find by find.
New to archaeological expeditions? You can find all the details about them here.

Where we’re going
On this route we’ll pause to admire Ethiopia’s extraordinary stone architecture. These sanctuaries weren’t simply built, they were carved straight from living rock. That’s why you won’t see pronounced masonry courses here: walls read as smooth planes. The primary material is red volcanic tuff with a soft rosy hue; decoration tends to be minimalist—geometric, restrained, and reverent.

What’s a tukul?
A tukul is a traditional Ethiopian dwelling: a round house with a high conical thatched roof. Two features stand out: the circular plan that naturally keeps interiors cool and sociable, and the steep, umbrella-like roof that sheds rain quickly while creating generous shade.

What’s new
More rewards in the Valuable Finds activity!
Before: You play the expedition, collect valuable finds, and receive milestone rewards plus the main reward—a unique building.

Now: We’ve added new stages that unlock after you obtain the main reward in this activity. Continue collecting valuable finds to earn extra milestone rewards and upgrade the main reward. Once upgraded, your main reward grants even better bonuses (details in the Rewards section below).

How it works
1. Play the expedition as usual and collect valuable finds.
2. Hit milestones to receive intermediate rewards and, ultimately, the main reward.
3. Keep going after getting the main reward: keep collecting valuable finds.
4. Reach additional milestones to get more intermediate rewards and an upgrade to the main reward.

In total, there are two extra post-main stages. With them, the main reward can be upgraded to Level 3 (Level 1 = base, plus 2 upgrade levels).
Apply the upgrade the standard way: build the main reward in your city and tap the arrow icon above it to upgrade.
New exposition: Medieval Ethiopia

The exhibits of the Ethiopian exposition are: Basket with pattern, Shield of an Ethiopian warrior, Krar, Jebena, Horse blanket with Ethiopian ornament, Traditional Ethiopian outfit, Rock church.
Restore all seven to complete the collection and bring this striking era to life in your city’s Archaeological Museum.
After you fully restore the exhibition, be sure to place it in one of the museum rooms straight away for additional limited-time bonuses! Bonuses include main game coins, main game energy, lucky cards, and seasonal currency. You can collect them from the Archaeological Museum every 24 hours for 16 days.
Complete all seven before the expedition ends to earn a bonus trophy (details in Rewards below).

Tips for a glowing expedition
- Play in short sessions a few times a day: your energy regenerates steadily, so pop in, make progress, and come back for another burst.
- Chase synergies: doing tasks also feeds side activities (duels, races, gift party), multiplying your rewards as you go.
- Finish the exhibition early: doing so ensures you’ll receive the bonus trophy; it’s only granted if all seven exhibits are restored before the expedition ends.
Let’s carve out some history together!
