We remember very well how much you loved Chests, and we know how much the game has been missing a similar event where you can spend seasonal currency in a useful and enjoyable way. We heard you! That is why today I am very happy to introduce a new event: Flash Chests.
This is the successor to the old Chests: the familiar principle will remain. You use keys, open chests, and receive rewards from the list. The grand prize will be either a unique building with seasonal currency and useful resources, just like before, or a set of blueprints for upgrading buildings and creating mega buildings.
But the event format will change:
- Flash Chests will be a short 24-hour event. We plan to launch it between major events so that you have a small, clear activity to enjoy in between. The event will be regular and may return several times a month, so you definitely will not miss your share of joy!
- There will be no decors among the rewards. We listened to your feedback and focused on resources that help you progress in the game: Superbucks, puzzle pieces, building upgrade plans, expedition energy, shovels, masks, and other useful items for your adventures and clearing the Islands.
- Keys will become universal for all seasons. You will be able to purchase them with seasonal currency, and unused keys will remain in your account after the event ends.
- What about keys from the old Chests? All seasonal keys from the old Chests that you carefully collected and saved will be converted into keys for the new event at a fair 1:1 rate. We value your progress! The conversion will take place by season: spring keys in spring, summer keys in summer, and so on. If you miss the first launch, no worries: the conversion will last longer than the event itself. When you enter the game, your old keys will switch to the new format, and you will be able to use them in one of the next launches.
We really hope Flash Chests will become a pleasant event for you, with clear mechanics and useful rewards. After the first launch, we will be looking forward to your opinion. They will help us understand what worked well and what should be improved further.
