Hello! Game designer Kate here again.
Today I’d like to tell you about a small but important update to expeditions: we’ve changed the treasuries.
What has changed
Previously, treasuries were compact: you used gold tools to unlock access and immediately saw the entire area, where you could collect expedition energy.
The system was clear and simple, but over time we wanted to make this moment a little more interesting — with more choice and a stronger feeling of discovering a real treasure.

Now treasuries will be larger and divided into several chambers. After entering, you’ll be able to choose where to go next. Different paths will cost the same number of gold tools, but the contents of the chambers may vary — so there will be a small element of intuition and luck.
But don’t worry: you won’t be left without rewards either way. And if you don’t want to choose and would rather collect everything, you’ll be able to open all the chambers within one treasury.

We’ve also updated the look of the treasuries. Our artists have done a lot of work on the style: they now feel larger, more atmospheric, and much more like a real place where you’d want to search for treasure. We hope you’ll enjoy looking at all the details as much as we enjoyed creating them.
Further changes
More gifts: Another nice change: the rewards have become more varied. In treasuries, you’ll now be able to find not only expedition energy, but also other gifts — superbucks, seasonal currency, coupons, and useful resources.
More city style: Expedition characters will also be waiting for you in the treasuries. Help them with their requests, and you’ll be able to take these heroes back to your city.

More gold tools: To give you more opportunities to explore the new treasuries, we’re reducing the helicopter cooldown to 1 hour. You’ll be able to send it more often, which means more gold tools, more chances to try different paths, and more opportunities to gradually open treasuries completely.
I hope you’ll enjoy testing your luck, choosing your route, and feeling like real explorers. And we’ll be keeping a close eye on your impressions and feedback!
